Low sees a lot more positives than negatives just after Denmark draw

Joachim Low saw plenty of motives for optimism following Germany’s 1-1 draw with Denmark on Tuesday.
The reigning planet champions fielded an experimental XI as Low has rested the majority of his important men for the upcoming Confederations Cup with an eye on subsequent year’s Globe Cup, and they needed a last-gasp equaliser from Joshua Kimmich to snatch a draw.
Low was pleased with what he saw, even though, and is optimistic ahead of what exactly is to come.
“There have been much more positives than negatives,” Low told reporters.
“It was a great test of exactly where we’re. We only had one education session, so I am extremely delighted.
“The commitment levels from everyone was really good, we can operate on coordination in the coming days.”
Captain Julian Draxler, meanwhile, was pleased with Germany’s all round show and felt honoured to become given the armband.
“Aside in the unnecessary goal conceded, we had some excellent possibilities inside the first half,” he added.
“We didn’t play badly and inside the end, the draw was deserved.
“It is usually a significant honour to be captain. But I understand that a handful of items have been lacking. I’ll make use of the Confederations Cup as a likelihood to prove my qualities as a leader.”
Germany now take on San Marino on Saturday in Planet Cup qualifying, with Australia awaiting in their Confederations Cup opener on June 19.
